Hi there, I'm Ann, the florist behind Seahorse Floral Design. Thanks for dropping by my site.

My journey into floristry has been a little different from most. Before working with flowers, I spent many years in the Merchant Navy, navigating ships around the world and experiencing the beauty of nature in all its forms—from wild coastlines and tropical blooms to dramatic landscapes and changing seasons. Those travels gave me a deep appreciation for the natural world that continues to inspire my work today.

Now, from my beautiful rural studio, I create sustainable floral designs for weddings, funerals, parties, and special occasions. I love working with the seasons, using locally grown flowers whenever possible and embracing nature-friendly methods to create arrangements that feel relaxed, beautiful, and full of character.

Flowers have a wonderful way of bringing people together, which is why I also offer workshops where you can spend a few hours being creative, learning new skills, and enjoying the simple pleasure of working with beautiful blooms. Whether you're celebrating a joyful occasion, remembering a loved one, or simply looking for a creative experience, I believe flowers can tell a story and create meaningful connections.
